British Society for the History of Pharmacy

Research Grant
From 2019 (Applications from 2018) the British Society for the History of Pharmacy will offer an annual grant of £500 to support a project in the history of pharmacy. The award is aimed at pharmacists, pharmacy technicians or students of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. The grant can be awarded as one single £500 award or split into two £250 grants for research over two years. The award also includes membership to the BSHP for the duration of the project.

The completed work will be presented as a short presentation, or poster, at the BSHP conference and/or the BSHP session at a BPSA Conference within 2 years of the award being made.

Soh Xi Ken
is from Sunderland University and his title is 'A holistic view on the evolution of pharmacy education from the 19th to 21st century: a case study on University of Sunderland’s School of Pharmacy.'
